What is Air Freight?

Transportation, or cargo, as is well known, refers to the collection of any product or material from a desired location and its delivery to another desired location at the desired time and in safe conditions. While there are many businesses serving in this field today, when the term cargo is used, traditional cargo companies generally come to mind. A product is delivered, an address is provided, and the delivered product is delivered to the addressee as quickly as possible, without damage or deformation, and the necessary information is provided to the recipient.

Air freight also operates within similar principles. In general, what is air freight? The answer to the question is that the classic concept of cargo can be described as the delivery of cargo to the desired destinations by air or airplane, completing the delivery process.

Of course, there are significant differences compared to traditional road or rail transportation. Faster processing times and faster delivery of the material or product to the desired destination are among the main reasons for its preference.

When we look at the companies providing services in this field today, we see that they are operating with a strong understanding of international transportation to different countries. It's a well-known fact that some companies send their aircraft to every airport in the world, across all seven continents, providing service to every destination.

Large logistics companies have elevated air transportation to its highest level with the services they provide in this context.

Fast, economical, high-quality, practical solutions, and advantages have been presented to users and those in need through the air transportation approach, and the door-to-door service approach has been integrated into the air transportation system.

What are the Types of Cargo in Air Transportation?

When we look at the concept of air transportation, we see that it is defined as all kinds of goods and products. Generally speaking, the question "What are the different types of air transportation and cargo?" might be answered as the delivery of a desired product to the recipient at the desired time. If service options were to be listed under headings, the following statements could be used:

  • All types of project transportation
  • All types of import and export product transportation
  • Funeral transportation by air
  • Consolidated cargo transportation
  • Transit loading system transportation
  • Specialized heavy-duty transportation systems
  • All types of hazardous material transportation
  • Transportation of all manufactured or created products
  • Valuable documents transportation
  • Valuable goods transportation
  • Valuable documents transportation

The Future of Air Transportation

Air transportation, today It is constantly renewing itself to meet its needs and is also establishing a valid transportation system across different countries. While it is traditionally thought of as a system used for domestic transportation within any country, when today's import and export potential is examined, the future of air transportation becomes more clearly visible.

A product produced in any country in the world, or Air transportation, as it is today and will continue to be the leading transportation system for quickly and expeditiously sending a product or package to any region or country.

The concept of faster, more economical, higher-quality, and more advantageous transportation is evolving daily.

Air transportation is evolving based on the principles of fast, secure, door-to-door delivery from airport to airport. The key to this sector will be the concept of speed.

In a world where the principle of providing service to every destination accessible by an aircraft or all airlines is rapidly developing, air transportation offers superior cargo service as a distinct advantage. It stands out as a leading provider.

The ability to transport any product produced through Turkey to different countries across all seven continents, and to deliver a product produced in any country to Türkiye within hours or at distant locations with maximum daily processing times, accelerates the development of this sector. Sea transportation, and of course land transportation, may be the most preferred option today.

However, when the concept of fast delivery is brought to the forefront, the magnitude of the potential of this sector becomes more clear.

As demand increases daily, product suppliers or those in need of products expect faster delivery of products produced and sold to the same standards, rather than product quality and affordability. Therefore, if you are a business owner or an individual considering purchasing or shipping products, you should first understand what air transportation is. How does it work? In which countries and distances is it valid? It is recommended that you contact professional companies for advice on questions like these.
